For almost a year I have been building WordPress Sites using Thesis. As a matter of fact, most of the sites that I have built over the last 6 months have been using Thesis.

What is Thesis?

It is a WordPress Theme and Framework. It makes it easy to create a unique design for every project. The cornerstone of Thesis is its Hooks and custom_functions which allow the end user flexible options to build a robust website or blog without messing with the core files. In fact, WordPress reccomends that you don’t touch the core files of a theme.

Thesis is the Brainchild of Chris Pearson. He and a team have put together a great package with great support. Since the launch of Thesis there have been a lot of other developers moving in the same direction that Thesis has. But DIYThemes was the first to offer such an amazing platform.

Yes Thesis is easy out of the box and requires less coding knowledge for the average blogger with little HTML, PHP, or CSS experience. But when it comes to understanding and utilizing the full potential of Thesis, its important to get a Thesis Developer.
